With COVID-19 still causing huge disruption to the travel industry and ever changing advice we know it's a confusing time for our clients. With our great key partners at Bristol Airport, we have put together this excellent travel advice page so our clients can be aware of what they need to do to travel safely this year. 

Travel Insurance

Don't Travel Without It

COVID-19 has caused many insurance providers to restrict cover against COVID-19. We know it's so important to have adequate cover with travel insurance, so we have teamed up with Rock Insurance. 

What they cover:-
Since the 14th April 2020 ROCK has supplied products that cover COVID-19 for emergency medical treatment. In the first week of July 2020 ROCK was the first to add cancellation cover for Coronavirus disease (COVID-19); severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), any mutation of these or any epidemic or pandemic virus or epidemic or pandemic disease.

Before your trip:
Cover if you or any person you are travelling with test positive for coronavirus within 14 days before your holiday
Cover if you or any person you are travelling with have been hospitalised within 28 days of your holiday as a result of coronavirus
Cover if you are not allowed to board your flight / mode of transport as a result of a positive coronavirus test or raised temperature
 
On your trip:
Cover if you have checked in at your holiday accommodation but they need to close as a result of the coronavirus
Medical cover included if you catch coronavirus whilst you are abroad
Cover if it is medically necessary to bring you home
Cover for additional accommodation and travelling costs if you contact coronavirus whilst you are abroad.

Country Requirements

Croatia

There have been some changes to the entry requirements to Croatia due to COVID-19. 

  • You will need to complete an application form to travel to Croatia. You can find the form here.

Cyprus

Cyprus is currently subject to travel restrictions.

  • You cannot enter Cyprus if you have been in the UK in the last 14 days
  • You can only enter Cyprus if you can show proof that you are a legal resident of Cyprus or a Cypriot ID holder and a negative PCR test result (taken in the previous 72 hours)

You will be required to complete a Cyprus Flight Pass Application here if you meet the criteria to travel to Cyprus.

Czech Republic

There are currently no travel requirements for clients arriving into Czech Republic from the UK.

France

There are currently no travel requirements for clients arriving into France from the UK.

Greece

There have been changes to the entry requirements to Greece as a result of COVID-19. At least 24 hours prior to arrival you will need to:-

  • Complete an online form here.
  • Once you’ve completed the form, please keep a copy of the QR code confirmation with you, as you’ll need to show this to border control in Greece.
  • It’s really important you complete this form in advance as you can be fined on arrival into Greece if you don’t have this complete and ready to show.

Hungary

There are currently no travel requirements for clients arriving into Hungary from the UK.

Italy

There are currently travel restrictions in place for Italy as a result of COVID-19. Before you arrive you should complete this form and take this with you.

Netherlands

There have been changes to the entry requirements to the Netherlands as a result of COVID-19. Before arriving into the country, those aged 13 and above will need to complete a form which you can download here. 
A form will also be required to be completed on departure for those aged 13 and above.

Poland

There are currently no travel requirements for clients arriving into Poland from the UK.

Portugal including Madeira & the Azores

Mainland Portugal is not yet on the Foreign Commonwealth Office list of exempted countries. 

Travel to Madeira and the Azores is permitted within the Foreign Commonwealth Office's list of exempted countries. However, you will be required to self-isolate upon your return for 14 days. Therefore we do not recommend travel to Portugal, Madeira or the Azores at this time.

Spain - Balearic Islands

There have been changes to the entry requirements to the Balearic Islands as a result of COVID-19. Before you travel you will need to:-

  • Complete an online form, which you can find here
  • Alternatively, download the SpTH App, available on Android. Apple compatible phones app will be coming soon. 
  • From 1st August 2020, if you have a mobile device it will be compulsory to download the SpTH App if you are visiting Spain.
  • From Sunday 26th July you are required to self isolate on your return

There have been changes to the entry requirements to the Canary Islands as a result of COVID-19. Before you travel you will need to:-

  • Complete an online form, which you can find here

Spain - Mainland

From Sunday 26th July the FCO have advised against all but essential travel to mainland Spain. Travellers already in Spain do not need to cut short their trips. On return you will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

Turkey

There are currently travel restrictions in place for Turkey as a result of COVID-19. Before you arrive you should complete this form and take this with you.

United Kingdom

There have been some changes to entry requirements for all arrivals into the United Kingdom due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Before you arrive into the country, you’ll need to:

  • Complete a Public Health Passenger Locator Form, which you can find here – this will only be available to you 48 hours before you’re due to arrive into the UK.
  • Each passenger needs to complete a form, except for children under 18 years old whose details can be added to the form of an adult they’re travelling with. Those travelling from the Channel Islands to the mainland UK don’t need to complete the form.
  • Once you’ve completed the form, please keep either a printed or an electronic copy handy, as you’ll need to show this at border control
