Day 1 UK - Calgary
Depart from your Local UK Airport for your flight to Calgary. On arrival a private transfer will take you to your chosen accommodation. For a genuine and fun 'country and western' atmosphere, perhaps spend the evening at Ranchman's on Macleod Trail South
Day 2 Calgary - Banff
Enjoy some shopping this morning and visit TD Sware, the Eaton Centre or Hudson's Bay, all of which are linked by Calgary's Plus 15 walkway system. Alternatively, experience the pioneering days of Calgary by visiting one of the historic parks. After lunch, the mountains beckon.
Days 3-4 Banff National Park
Often regarded as one of the most attractive small towns in North America, Banff has Cascade Mountain and a clock tower acting as a backdrop to its selection of shops selling local craftwork and a choice of cafes and bars. You may wish to enjoy a boat trip on nearby Lake Minnewanka or perhaps take the Banff Gondola to a high alpine vantage point on Sulphure Mountain, overlooking spectacular Bow Valley.
Day 5 Banff - Lake Louise - Jasper

Enjoy a scenic day tour through superb scenery along the Icefields Parkway, stopping at beautiful Lake Louise. Continue to the Columbia Icefield, the largest accumulation of snow and ice in the Rockies. Weather permitting; take an included 'Ice Explorer' ride on to the Athabasca Glacier
Day 6 Jasper National Park
Enjoy the peaceful, magnificent surroundings of Jasper National Park. Herds of elk wander Jasper's streets and black bears can often be seen near the roadsides of the park. Perhaps take a spirit Island cruise on the emerald waters of glacier-fed Maligne Lake or ride the tramway up to Whistler's Mountain for a bird's eye view of the Athabasca Valley.
Day 7 Rocky Mountaineer Jasper - Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer for a scenic ride through the Rockies. Pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. View the expansive glacier of Albreda Icefields and Pyramid Falls. Follow the Thompson River through the snowy peaks of the Monashee Mountains and across rolling plateaux. Breakfast and lunch are served on board.
Day 8 Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops - Vancouver
Continue towards the coast and Vancouver where the train hugs the Thompson River before entering the spectacular Fraser Canyon and the notorious Hells Gate. Pass the towering peaks of the Coastal Mountains and meander through the fertile fields of the Fraser River Valley before arriving at Vancouver's Pacific Central Station late afternoon. Transfer independently to your Vancouver Hotel. Breakfast and lunch are served on board.
Day 9 Vancouver
Vancouver has one of the world's most beautiful settings, surrounded by spectacular natural scenery. Attractions to visit include Stanley Park, Granville Island, the shops and boutiques of Robson Street or book a trip to Grouse Mountain for magnificent views of the city.
Day 10 Vancouver - Alaska Cruise
After a morning at leisure, make your way to Vancouver's cruise terminal for embarkation onto your vessel and beginning of your unforgettable seven night cruise to Alaska.
Days 11 - 16 Alaska Cruise
Cruise through the famous Inside Passage, enjoying spectacular views of deep-water fjords, snow-capped mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, forested islands, and rich wildlife. Keep your cameras ready to snap humpback and killer whales, sea lions, seals, sea otters, porpoise and majestic bald eagles.
Day 17 Vancouver
Disembark your cruise ship this morning and take the short taxi ride to your chosen hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Vancouver. Perhaps visit the nearby Capilano Suspension Bridge, the world's longest and highest suspended foot bridge, which gently sways as you walk across it to view the Capilano River 230 feet below.
Day 18 Vancouver - UK
Enjoy your final day in this wonderful city before transferring by private car to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK.
